:D The lfs said he was getting borred with his home tank, and wanted somethhing new. He said there was a large dragon fish he'd save for me. Dan I not one to exaturate, he said I was about 13-14" long, an inch around, and when Its daorsal was raised, was 2-2.5" talll:eek:      ! He had it sence noveber, was in full FW, and was eating flakes. He would bring the fish in later this week. Since i am a frequent customer, he said the price would be the same as his suppliers price-$10.00

Wow that sounds Awesome!! Be sure to post pics once you get it!!

You just need to wait. the best thing to do, is to find a dragon in full FW, wait a mounth or 2. If it is eating well then get it. another one of your possible problems with them , might be, that since they are large aND LOOK PREDITORY, you put them with aggressive fish. These things can't hurt a thing, their throughts are to small. mine loves frozen mysis shrimp. The giant I have now, was in a 45 long, but i had to move him because the jd picked on him. He is in the 10 gallon (temporaraly). he is with 1CM convict fry and peacock gudgeans under an inch. doesn't touch them. I am thinking it would be interesting to take a 55, use black sand, and put nothing but neons and dragons in it.

I might do something like that about 20 neons, and a couple dragons....
