Another Goldfish Thread...

I heard Bruce Bogwood wanted more Goldfish pix, so here they are!

This is my 135 community tank. I know a lot of people like to put down Goldfish (save your "feeder" comments), but I really enjoy mine.

I keep a few Monster Fish as well, but that's for a different thread.

There's no Goldfish in the last picture, but you can see a few of the "Night Crew".

To be honest, I like Snappy better, too.

Why do you have tropical fish with goldfish? And I'm not gonna say anything about feeders

I don't really know why, but I've always kept Fancy Goldfish with Tropicals. I keep the temp at right 77 degrees with a Medusa heater/chiller controller and everyone seems happy. The only drawback is that the Goldfish tend to lose their dark coloring (except the Moor). This happens to most Goldfish as they age, but I've read that high temps can accelerate this.

Nice. It's not bad to keep tropical with goldfish or "cold water" fish as long as it's a compromising temperature

I wish i didn't, but satellite internet is expensive and not very reliable, especially in the winter.

We're out of cell range and there isn't any cable up here, so I have learned to be very patient.
