Another ID requst.....was listed as a Gold Pike

Hi Everyone,

Fist time needing to add some fish to my cichlid tank in a long time. As My Purple Rose Queen "reated vacancies" in the tank by killing my 2 synspilum. Rose Queen at the LFS now.

Went to an asian LFS in Flushing Queens, and they had this guy in a tank listed as a Gold Pike, with no more info. I have gone through a lot of posts on this sub forum with no luck. Can anyone help ID?

Its only around 3 inches now.......sorry if a little blurry, best I could get with the camera at hand.

Looks like a female Cr. sp. 'bellycrawler'. Very awesome pick up!!! Definitely a great trade!

They are awesome fish, tons of personality too! Super easy to take care of as well. Ha

I thought mine looked like a belly crawler, but i couldn't find any in pictures that had the spot on the dorsal fin like mine, so i assumed it was similar but not the same.

Oh its a Bellycrawler Pike cichlid BEST FISH EVER!

The spot in the dorsal fin is a characteristic of a female sp. "Belly crawler"

Yeah,i wasnt sure if i would like my Bellycrawler but after a few monthes it has really grown on me,they have great personalities mine kinda reminds me of an Oscar at feeding time.
