Another ID the parachromis thread

So few months back was at the lfs and they had some of these guys labeled as jags. To me looks more rtm, but dude insisted they were jags. Picked one up and fast forward some months and now at ~5 inches I still think I'm looking at a male rtm, but I'm no parachromis expert. Whatchu think mfk??

word. my understanding is the female wouldn't have the spotting on the gill plate/lower jaw but would be more red just like the pics you posted.

yes, that is what I was taught cich78 ....definitely Motaguensis though and looks male to me
