Well, i've been setting up a tank to breed longfin bristlenose for a little while, just finished the cycle and had it all set up, so i wondered over to my main tank, and am watching it, waitng to spot my bristlenoses and i noticed my female krib, doing the little vibrating dance infront of my male, last minute decison remove kribs into the tank instead.
Now anywyas, i haven't done as much researching into breed kribensis, but i'm not to worried, as i've bred a few species of cichlids before.
whats got me worried is that now they've taken up into a cave, (can't see into it even with a flashlight) my female who was doing her little dance every 10 seconds yesterday is now rarely leaving her cave and the male isn't either. her red bellies faded out alot, and i'm just a little worried about it, is this a good sign or bad. (the belly, everything else seems excellent to me :) )

Anyways thanks alot for reading, hope it made sense :)

Well maybe she laid the eggs. What else is in the tank? The mom and dad will take care of the fry. They are very good parents. Congrats if you get babies.

they definetly have eggs :D
sorry i was coming off a very long few days, barely and sleep hence why it didn't make sense :)
Nah whats worrying me is that her normal bright red belly has faded out to nearly nothing there, just an off colour splotch now.
is that something to worry about?

Nope, nothing to worry about. My cons just gave birth and her belly look like a males now, lol. So don't worry.
