Another Lenticulata thread. Male or female?

Females will have a white stripe in the dorsal fin when mature (over 8"-9") and also some white at the top part of caudal fin. Some males exhibit some a gray stripe in the dorsal which can be confusing. But a male will NEVER get the pinkish belly. Females also tend to be plumper than males.

It's 9" so you think male? Also very aggressive.

I'd say male. In addition to the traits already listed, males have the striations on their belly that your fish exhibits. With that said, even at 9" there is a chance that is hasn't shown its mature traits yet.

Some do take longer, I have an X1 that I purchased @ three inches believing it was a male all the way up till about 2 months ago (8.5-9") started showing signs of a white dorsal and a pinkish abdomen.
