I been thinking is it possible to use 1 bubble counter and a 4 way minifold(without bubble counter) or 4 way split valve (gang valve)with glass diffusor and drop checker in each tank which is 2x 20 gal long and 2x 10 gal provide co2 injections?Trying to get around not using bubble counter for each tank.

yeah, i suppose it could be done but you would have to keep a close eye on your co2 levels as you dont really know how much youre injecting. if youre trying to save money, take a look at DIY bubble counters. this could also be an option. dont know too much about these though...

hmmm yea this just came across my mind..if 2 tank the same size i suppose co2 level might be the same but with different size tanks co2 injection for smaller ones might be too much. Is it too much for a 10 gallon tank to have co2 injections?or should i just stick with dosing flourish excel with 3wpg?

well for the 10g i guess it all depends what kind of plants your trying to grow. some plants just wont grow well without pressurized co2. i have a 10g with 2.7wpg and a bunch of low light plants like mosses, ferns, and anubias. i added Excel everyday and the plants are doing great. they arent growing like crazy but i like the ease of the whole setup.

you could do something like this with the smaller tanks, and just run pressurized co2 on the big ones. or, you could also do DIY co2...

Then i would just stick with dosing excel for smaller tanks. Man you been helping me alot with all my newb questions. The past months i been fascinated by planted tanks. After seeing yours and most of the member here planted tank. Im more into plants then fish now..heh.Right now 1 of my 2 gallon tanks is stuffed with planted from low to med. Once everything i need arrives. Im gonna stat aquascaping. The most challeging tank will be my arrohead puffer tanks because they are lurkers and will burrow under the sand. Unfortunately sometime they will uprrot the plants doing so.
