Another new loach: Panda Gara Gara

This was labeled as a loach, but I can't find any info. It has a suckermouth like a pleco, but is apparently a loach. It acts like a loach. It's very spastic, and it was tough even to get this crappy photo.

I just did a search and couldnt find anything close to it where did you buy it from i know some
lfs label fish wrong..

I will try, but it acts like a pleco too, likes caves. Will get a pic when it's out.

OK. According to one of the experts at http://www.loaches.com/ your fish is not a loach; it is a cyprinid known as Garra flavatra. He said to make sure your tank has a secure top and to check out this link:

That's a positive ID. Thanks for the info. In retrospect, the fish does look like a cyprinid, but with a pleco type mouth. It acts like a combination of a pleco and a loach.
