IN YOUR HEAD
one of these have been on the list for a while. i got a 14" ripsaw. this o. niger is layed back! only flopped once in the whole move! couldn't believe the harpoons it has down the side though. i'll have pics and a vid soon.:headbang2

I see lots off people post about these are they hard to find other places? Mine I had for 8 months and was so boring I gave it to a friend. They do grow fast but that's about it.

it is hard to find here. most other places as well. any you see for sale sell quick. ya they just lay there, but they are not your average pictus cat. they add a uniqueness to the tank that many can't get. the tank it is in has 5 silver aros, 1x 20" tsn, 1x 16" tsn, 1x 18" rtcxtsn, 1x 16" smallmouth bass and this 14" ripsaw. so it is not the focus, but another aspect to the tanks greatness.

Nice pick up

thanks

Nice pick up. Do you have this in with your gars?

thanks, as of right now no.
it was to big to be eatten by my 20" tsn so i put it in with the other big cats and aros. i have with my gars and bowfins, an achara and a channel. that is untill they can go in with the other big cats. i will also be moving a rtc through the gar tank as a mid ground to the big tank.

the 2 tanks have the same natural sand bottoms, but that is just due to me being in the process of changing the 120gal over to the gar tank. they just had to move early. i wanted to have the overflows in and the black sand in before they got moved into it. also maybe have my smaller floridas in to grow some. thanks to the pig of an rtcxtsn i have they got an early move. now i have to take all the gars and their tankmates out to set the overflows when the pump comes in this week. so till that point i am doing every 2-3 day 75% wc. the tank wasn't ready for that big of a bioload so i have to adjust to it. since i am moving 8 bowfins to new homes in the next few days it will be better. i figured this cat in that tank would push it over the edge if it already isn't.

i'll have to do a few updates on each tank since alot has changed in the last few months.
