I ask quite a few questions, but you guys always do a good job of answering them, so I'll ask another :)

My 3 RBP don't seem to be big fans of tilapia filet, or frozen shrimp. but guppies and beefheart they go nuts over... feeders and beefheart are only supposed to be a supplement. What should I do to ensure they get a majority of their diet from frozen filets? they let the pieces I put in there sit.

how big are they and how frequent you feed?
you can try starve them for a few days if they are big enough then try the fillet again.
maybe the fillet wasn't fresh enough. mine went crazy over anything thats fresh, if a fillet is too flaky they don't get too excited about it.

my Piranha are about 4 inches each, and I feed them one or two times a day. the filets I get frozen and cryo-sealed from the grocery store, i dont open them until its feeding time, I even cut down the slices to about 1 cubic inch so they dont get skittish.

at 4in you can feed just once a day or every other day but I think smaller meal and feed everyday will probably be better.
try to starve them for couple days then give them fillet again.
mine basically just went crazy over any fillet I drop in there, don't even need to cut them up.

mine go ballistic for scallops. but they like tilapia and shrimp also. one thing i noticed, as soon as my plecos go for food, they piranhas know its edible and go nuts
