Hello guys, i have 6 peacock bass a few months ago and i was wondering what this little guy was.

I was told my larger ones where azul but this guy wasn't growing as fast so i had to put him in a 20g temporarily .

I was wondering if he was azul aswell

Yea they where all the same size but this guy just didn't grow much at all he is almost the same size while the others doubled in size.

He was getting picked on and i noticed niped find so i moved him to a 20g. I plan on getting him a 40 or 50 gallon tank

If your bass is eating but not putting on any size, it could be internal parasites. Have you put them through proper a medicated quarantine at all? If not I would deworm him and your other fish as well.

I didnt quarantine but i had a small worm problem that i believe was caused by overfeeding. I medicated the tank with prazi pro and less food. I thinj any parasites would have been removed witj tratment i think.

That’s great that you did a medicated qt. Most people just dump there fish right into there display tank. For internal parasites real only way to make sure you kill them is by the fish injeesting the meds ie medicating their food. I would dose the food and put the fish through another round of meds to be sure. Like a week or so worth medicated feeding. I had to do it with bass when I got them too and it’s not all that uncommon for fish to come in with internal parasites. Afterward you will have the peace of mind knowing your fish are safe and clear.

My runt is catching up with the rest of the pack . but he's a little a hole and agresive for his size. And the first to eat. Good luck . keep us posted on him.
