I have a 29 gal tank that i going to put mexitco blue and try breeding and i was just looking for suggestions of a smaller growing pleco that is beautiful and a nice looking speciemen

Don't understand the first part, but in general any of the Hypancistrus, Ancistrus, Peckoltia, Chaetostoma, some Panaques etc. etc. Theres a lot to choose from, including the one in my avatar, Hypancistrus sp. L260.

Well heres a nice big list for you to choose from, all the ones that say Loricariidae are the plecos, and these are all in the range of 7.5 - 3.5 inches. Oh and just because it's at the top of the list, I noticed Hemiancistrus subviridis is listed at 7.5", it's not it's closer to 12".

I would not put anything with a breeding pair of mixtecos; as far as cichlidae go, they aren't particularly aggressive, but I wouldn't risk it. If you must, though, maybe try something pretty solid and hearty; ancistrus, maybe. Better yet, go for garra or other robust limnivorous cypriformes.
