Please forgive my ignorance and never ending questions. I am concerned about having to much current for my tank. My setup is a 72x18x18 with a 10 gallon overflow in the corner. Filter is a 33 gal sump with mag drive 24 pumping. Do I have to much flow for the dats?

That was what I was afraid of. My NTT is 4 maybe 5", NGT 3", and the IT is the feather weight coming in at 2". Is there anything I can do other than going out to buy a smaller pump?

put a t on the output and a valve on each leg of the t. Then run one leg back to the sump and the other to the tank. Throttle the flow into the sump until it is reduced to an acceptable level going into the tank.
