Another Ray, Another Day!!!

Well first off long time no see, for some of you guys its been awhile since i was on MFK for breakfast, lunch and dinner but i'm back!

Here is my story- Around a year/year 1/2 ago I lost my Motoro pup to a nasty 17" clown knife! I was so upset i slowly sold fish off and took down tanks!


BUT I.M BACK IN ACTION NOW BABY WOO HOO...

I broke down and bought this lil guy yesterday




A small retic for $70. they had him labeled as hystrix ray but i'm pretty sure he isn't. I made sure he ate before i bought him (totally destroyed some black worms).

I just purchased a very similar ray and I couldn't be happier. What do you have yours feeding on ?

Yea i feel same way cause i got out of the hobby for a bit but i missed it tons! but my lil guy is a murderer of the Black worms he destroys a ounce in 2 days and i know he has eaten one ghost shrimp but theres been 4 ghost shrimp in there for 3 days he hasnt touched. I'm gonna try and work in some bloodworms soon see if i can get some kind of variety!


If any Ray guys see this, how did you start your small retic's eating buffet?

Well heres a update on the little guy! but just would like the satisfaction of some of the more knowledgeable MFK ray keepers of the exact species name on my young ray?

Its def a rectic it looks exactly like mine. As far as feeding i would read the sticky in the ray section. They might eat only live foods for a while like mine still is. U can try mixing of foods with the black worms just make sure its small enough for the rays mouth since they have smaller ones than others
