Another Red Devil question

Has anyone had luck in having these in a cichlid community tank long term? I have a 125G 6ft tank and I am thinking about adding one but from my passed experience (in smaller tanks) it was never good with a devil.

Currently in there is 1 of each
oscar 7inch
nicaraguese 6inch (actually boss of the tank)
salvini 4inch
JD 4 inch
Firemouth 3inch
severum 3inch
synodontis cat

Can it work if put in as a juvi like 3 inch?

it might work until it hits maybe 5 inches.

the devil is going to outgrow all your others and be far more aggressive. they will work in community tanks long term, if housed with the proper inhabitants.

maybe it will work ive never had luck not even in my 180 gallon cichlid comunity

getting it small would be your best bet in the end it will come down to its personality

honestly, sounds to me like you're pretty well stocked...i'd maybe add some dithers but that's about it. imo a red devil would be bad idea.
