Another Rio Naranjo Trimac

Need some input..... A few months back I ordered this Male F1 Rio Naranjo Trimac from COTA. He is about 5-6" now and is a Metallic green w/ a rose breast. Sorry your can't see the rose color in this picture. But if you notice he has NO markings.... Anyone else seen one like this or is it just a, dare I say, "morph?" Either way I like him and don't plan on sending him anywhere. In fact, i just got a Female F2 from Jeff Rapps this week. Any thoughts??

I had a full batch shipped in without marking. I kept lying to myself believing one day...that day never came, but they had nice shape. Dan from cichlids of the Americas did the old bait and switch on me. We sent countless emails back and forth pertaining to 3 female festae that were nearly a foot each and when they arrived one was straight deformed, an other had stripes that went every direction but vertical and intersected like plate of spaghetti and the 3rd was ugly but compared to these circus freaks she looked pretty good. Dan tells me it was from shipping stress and kept my money. He offered to sell me more though...what a piece of work he is

I got several trimacs from him and they looked awesome and as one would expect - you definitely have a male there. I got three female festae and they were incredible as well. I ordered small though, so less shipping stress - who knows...

I feel, when they're like this, you can appreciate the body shape and greens and reds more with this species...
