another sex my JD thread

so I decided to get this guy, or girl the other day. technically its an EBJD, just one of the more normal looking of the spawn. I liked the really really dark blue. anyway, its about 2 inches long and i cant decided what i think it is. it has splotches on the lower gill plate but lots of spotting on the side too?? its doing good, not eating yet though. any opinions???

very difficult to sex EBJD's I've heard, so venting would definitely be the best bet.
