Here they are again..last time i posted them every one kind of thought they were a pair so here they are a little older maybe you severum experts would give me some info.. i know one sev has a split tail.. other then that they are in good shape.

They still look alittle young to tell to me. I couldn't tell what mine were for a year and a half. The dorsal and anal fins back by the tail will grow little trailers and get more colorful. As well as squiggles on the face and such for females. Well my female doesn't have them at all The easiest way for me to tell my male and female apart are from the size. The male is slightly larger and that was a difference I could see after 6 months. I bought them together at about an inch and one grew larger same with my gold sevs. After that when they groe trailers the males will be longer. The pic of the gold sevs is old and they are really small but you can see a slight difference. The female is on top and male is on bottom. She is slightly smaller with duller color and he is slightly brighter. When they mate they change color alot. The second pic is my female. looks weird because used a flash. You can see how long her fins are. You can see her scale pattern on her belly is messed up. The female frequently gets damaged during mating. The las pic is of male. Hard to tell difference when not next to each other. The size and fins are apparent when side by side. In the pic my male is one color with no bars however like I said they change color alot and currently is bright vivid with all his bars apparent with alot of red underneath. Mine are about to mate again.
