So don't make fun of my MS paint blueprint. I just wanted to get it in some sort of drawing.
I have come up with this very basic design to construct a tank stand for my 115gal that i am building this weekendish. The blue represents the plywood and the red represents the 2x4. Of course i would use glue and nails for all joints. But im worried about the diagonal physics. I think i need some sort of horizantal bracing. But i need to make sure i have enough room in the back left corner for the plumbing. So with that said. im looking to those experts for some advice. I should add that there will be plywood in front and on the sides. This is just the skeleton part.

not enough info in your illustration......just search this section, in 15 minutes you'll have 10 options.

Look at the frame used on 144g link below...its super basic.

Im thinking the height of the stand will be around 40", the length is 60", the depth is 18". The tank is 60x18x24. I think a better inner frame might need to be accomplished before i continue through.

Based on the drawing, you will definitely need more support in many areas. I like to encourage people to use this design.
