Another stand question

Hey, I'm going to build a stand for a 40 breeder here shortly. I planned on using 2x4's but I found a bunch of 2x2's sitting around. Would they be strong enough?

As long as its built correctly it'll be fine.....strenght wise

I agree ray, you can always sister 2 up, think they work fine.

Yup- 2x2's are fine with that small of a tank, plus breeders have that nice wide footprint.

40G x 10lbs = 400lbs this would be a projected MAX weight. I got a future Son in law tphats close to that weight!
