tuesday im buying a 72g bow front. So far Im thinking 1 Oscar and a Senegal Bichir. What else can go in there safely? Something colorful is good, and something that will be able to live with them all the way through adulthood.

You are fully stocked with one Oscar IMO. Make sure the Senegal is decent sized if you go that route or it will end up as an expensive Oscar snack.
There is already another thread about someone who added a small senegal and the oscar ate it. Def make sure its larger than the O. That, or just stay away from the Bichir.
