I have read through the sticky on this, but still need a couple things clarified:

In my 180, adding 2 teaspoons of salt per gallon calculates out to 8.5 cups (when I assume 30 gallons of water in the sump for 210 total gallons). Is this right? I double and triple checked the conversions as well as the info in the sticky, it just seems high.

I used Oceanic brand Natural Sea Salt Mix. I didn't see any difference between that and the aquarium salt sold near the meds. Is this right?

Am I going to need to add any additional salt if/when I add any water (I add about 5 gallons every other day due to evap.)? Do I need to maintain a certain salinity during the 10 day treatment?

Last question. All I need to do to get rid of the salt in the water is through 25% (or more) water changes down the road, correct?

Any help would be appreciated. I hope I didn't just kill my fish with the wrong treatment.

Your question is rather long, but ill help as best as i can. I'd consider myself pretty good when it comes to dealing with ich:headbang2.
I never use salt when treating ich, but i do have a carton of aquarium salt and it says to use 1 table spoon per 5 gallons of water but if the sticky suggests it then id take their word. IMO i probably wouldnt add any salt when filling in the water because salt doesnt evaporate. If you do your weekly (or more) water changes you'll eventually get rid of the salt. But for what its worth, whenever i deal with ich i simply turn the water temperature up to 83-86 and beat it everytime. With a little patience it should be gone within 2 weeks. Just make sure to keep good aeration in the water for two reasons. With high heat your water cant hold oxygen as easy, and #2 ich will have a hard time encycsting. Keep us updated.:)

Realize that a 180g tank only has a volume of 169.5 gallons thats not including subtracting for substrate and decor. For treating Ich the aquarium salt is recommended. When I treat for Ich this way I do not add any other salt during water changes. Just keep your temp up to 85 degrees for two weeks and add extra areation, the warmer temp will lower oxygen levels.

for a 180 gallon, you will need a lot of salt, what a waste. Raise the temp. as mentioned or take the sick fish and place in a hospital tank.

The salt has been added, temp has been raised. All of the fish seem to be doing better after 3 days. The ich is visibly gone from all of the fish except for one, which seems unchanged.

Unfortunately I had lost 3 fish just before starting treatment: 4" pictus cat, 1.5" calvus, and a 3" sailfin pleco.

Sucks to have lost them but im glad to hear that its almost gone! Give it a little more time and the other should clear up in no time!:)
