I rescued some fish. Turns out that they had finrot. They are currently in treatment. They came with the 75G tank I got.

But wondering if the gravel that came with the fish also carries finrot bacteria?

If it does, then how do you clean the gravel of it?
Because I eventually would like to use the gravel in my son's Angelfish tank.

Would soaking it in a bucket of chlorinated water for 24 hrs kill everything? Or do I need to bleach it and then rinse with dechlorinated water?

I would think that bleach would do the trick. Or boiling it. Or even both.
