So, I have been hanging around here for a while and was officially going to start buying material this friday for my 125~ish ply build. Naturally I was excited and making everone at work listen to all my ideas. One of my co-workers says she has an old 125 setup with some supplies i can have for free. I am thinking to myself, it leaks, its not really a 125, or it's not even real. well we set up a time to meet and i take a coupple buddies to help.
Sure enough! she did have it. I was really only interested in the tank but she gave me a light, glass pieces for hood? and a hob filter. i will use some of it for my other tank. now i have a few questions.

1: tempered glass tank- so i can't drill it can I (or a glass shop). I don't want all the pluming in my tank for diy overflow. is there anyway i can put in a corner overflow box and hide the plumbing there?
2:can i use t5 in this light? its a perfecto light. it has "perfect-a-lamp" bulbs in it now. also have some other stuff on buld. "f20712 20 watt 24" lmap"

sweeeet that really is an amazing steal. Sounds exactly like mine. I was given a 120 Gallon with a full light unit, fluval 405, heater, the lot. Still to this day don't appreciate how lucky I am to have it. Now I can share my joy with you!! Check out what I've done with it in my signature :)

What you going to stock it with??? :) *cough.....South American Cichlids...cough*

lol i am all into the monster fish. the g/f however is not. it's still a battle between a "finding nemo" tank and some Cichlids. thats still in progress. going to get the wet/dry and fx5 set up before I even start with anything else. your setup is nice! G/f just seen me posting this and said. no I want a saltwater! should have never hooked my computer to my tv...
