Another wet/dry question

Is there any easier way to get your siphion going...the tubes that come into my over flow i cant get the water going 100% its always going @ like 85% i dont have a built in over flow

You could also use a venturi on a powerhead and some airline tubing, drill a hole in the U tube. Should suck the air right out.

The Aqua Lifter pumps ($10.99--look towards the bottom of this page) are designed to do exactly that by sucking out excess air from the overflow siphon and depositing it into your tank.
