Another 'which fish would you get' thread

im getting bored with my fish and im wanting something different. ive kept african cichlids regularly for the last 4+ years and im bored. im wanting to ditch my fish and start over but my wife doesnt want to. im still debating what to do. i got a 150 with 13 african cichlids, 9 clown loaches, 3 catfish and about 5 other odds and ends.
im debating on a single predator fish(E-eel, monster rhom, ATF)
a monster catfish community tank (channel cat, lima SN, redtail(that i know will outgrow a 150)
or a mix of smaller monsters
I kinda like the fish i got. i mean they are beautiful, diverse in color, behavior and peaceful, and not to mention the $$ ive spent on them but i want something different. i may sell them and leave the tank full of guppies and java moss and take a break till i have some more time and money.

Don't start that tank over, if you feel you need a change go get another tank. Maybe a 75g and start a planted tank, or something else like a big single SA/CA cichlid.

I have synos in my 150. They are fun to watch.

I'd do saltwater next or a planted discus tank next personally...either way your wife would kill you.

I'd get rid of all the fish except for the loaches, and get some more loaches to accent your loaches.
