This time, discuss the credibility of zombies, where you would go, and what you would do in the event of a zombie apocalypse. Just making this so we can quit derailing the other one.

What about a fast acting Rabies virus? like full on Rage in a day and being spread by humans and other animals.

Lol,when I saw this my first thought was that the other one got closed...Where would I go?...I'd find out where it is and hide out in the Doomsday Castle.
In my opinion it is very possible. Just not like we are envisioning. It is entirely possible for a disease or parasite to make people go crazy, but to reanimate a dead body, or make it so you have to be shot the brain to die is not. I would hop aboard a sailboat and use a solar still for unlimited fresh water. Fishing/ snorkeling until I find something on the bottom would provide plenty of food. Also as long as I didn't stay in one spot very close to shore, I would be completely safe from zombies. As for weapons... A Katana for the errant zombie and small groups, and an AR-15 for hordes. As well as a small silenced pistol for taking them out from a distance without drawing much attention.
this^^ saved me from writing a paragraph... only throw in a long ranged silenced rifle plus a fully auto AR. might as well go full tactical while were at it.
