Ansorgii growth

Just sharing my ansorgii, brought it at 5-6", now three months later it's approx 11" and at least twice as thick!

What is the usual growth rate for ansorgii? My other one brought at the same time is still the same size, doesn't really have a good appetite.

Can't tell from the pics. Dou know if they're wild caught or captive bred?

From my readings on prior pfk / mfk posts. Ansorgii are suppose to be slowest growing lower jaw. But then again some have had great success. Personally, I had a 3" CB ansorgii. It had slow growth and girth was skinny. Unfortunately, it got picked on by my ornate at 8" and died.

I think individual is different, i dont have a ansorgii yet but like vancouver mentioned some grow fast and some slow, i have two congi and the other one eat more then the other so lenght and girth is much bigger.

That is definitely CB ansorgiixendli hybrid.1" per month til 12" then slows down to maybe .5" per month on these guys. Could be slower/faster depending on its genetics and other factors.
