Not where I'd like to be, Maryland
I have two Gold sevs... this is the second time within a week they've laid eggs.
I get mixed reviews all the time. I was told the one with more orange on it, was a female, that "was laying eggs every 2 weeks", when i traded for her. I didn't care at the time if it were male or female. I've shown pics of them both together...almost everyone says both female. The one with no orange had a short wide tube. Not positive, but my bf told me he seen a thin pointy thing on the "orange finned". lol. So I'm trying to find out if they ARE both the same sex or not. They eggs werent fertilized the first time, im assuming that because they turned white within a day. The second time the one with orange fins just ate them all off the sand. Is it normal for eggs to be laid again so soon?

Could it be possible that both females laid eggs this week? 2 different spawns form the 2 different females?

Perhaps the addition of a mature male to the tank would do the trick...;)

more pictures of the one im SURE is female..tell me if im wrong.
[sorry so many i get a little pic crazy trying to get a good one]
The other one had no tube at all right now..nothing sticking out..

That was more or less a joke. What fishaholic would pass up on a chance for another fish?

Consider yourself lucky just looking for an adult male. I can't seem to find adult ANYTHING out here. Except adult oscars at walmart. Those there are alot of...
