Hi,
I'm considering buying an beautiful antenna ray. The vendor told me he's a wild catch from Tailand. However, I'm quite concerned about the size of its tail - the ray disc is about 7'' (~18cm) but the tail it over 40cm.

Is it suitable for aquarium of 160x70x70 cm ? How big (and long) would he get to be? Is he suitable to co-habite with Motoro, Yepezi and rect ?

Thanks in advance,
Avishay

Wild caught from Thailand? Antenna rays come from Peru. Also a filter feeding ray and very...extremely difficult to keep alive. Ghost shrimp are probably your only food choice.

Yes, I was also surprised by the alleged origin of the ray. Though, that was not the ray you usually see in pics - he was much thicker. It for sure came from Tailand and the saler believe he is a wild catch.
Thanks for the caution - I will be waiting to see him eating....
