Just thought I'd post up some new pics of my anthurus and lepidota. I recently moved the largest lepidota into the 55g tank with the anthurus. The 2 smaller lepidota had to go into my 125 SA/CA community tank, cuz they wouldn't been eaten in the 55g :).

So far (4 days and counting) the anthurus and lepidota are getting along fine. Its like they don't pay any more attention to each other than they do to other fish. There are a male and female anthurus, and a male lepidota. They are all around 5 inches, although the lepidota has a much more robust body than the anthurus do. You'll see from the pics...

1st pics are male lepidota, then female anthurus, then male anthurus, then both males hanging out together.

Not yet, although the female anthurus hasn't been beating up on the male as much lately. They've actually been caught swimming around peacefully on occasion, so hopefully they're getting closer. I don't know if they'll mate until I move some of their tankmates out though, as its a little crowded in there right now.

Sorry for the crappy pics, I hadn't cleaned the glass in a week or so.

cool fish, who cares about the quality of the pics. Thanks for posting some fish that aren't super common :D

awesome pikes. glad to here they are getting along a little better. definitely a good sign to see them swim around peacefully with each other.

I think its kind of funny that the 2 males have been hanging out peacefully together. I guess they both understand about pushy women ;).
