So I have a pair of cr. anthurus, I'd love to get them to spawn in the future, the problem iswhen i brought them home i seperated them because the female was hella brutal to the male. So its been a few weeks, and the male has fattened up and ive got them eating regularly and when I introduced the male to the female again she just about killed him. They are both about 5", do you think it's to early? Or this a sign they are not going to bond? They are seperated again. I'd hate to have this beautiful pair seperated for life. ThAnks.

Do you have a tank where you can separate them with a divider while still allowing them to see eachother? If jot, try adding a ton of hiding places in a tank and see if they bond as they reach sexual maturity. Pvc works well in a pinch.

A clear divider can do wonders in this situation. I have never really done it with pikes? But with lots of other central/souths
