Anybody???????????

If you drill a small hole, say 1/4", in the return at the waterline or slightly below, water wont be able to back siphon. I've been doing this for many years and never had any problems. You just need to be sure and check that the anit-siphon hole is clear of snails and mineral build up from time to time.

I think I posted a reply to your other thread a check valve/ball valve so you can shut off the water coming out and going into the tank.

The small hole works just as well as a check valve IME. It's a lot cheaper too:D
