What type of anubias is that? I have the same one and I wanted more info about it.

What is the process to split the rhizome?

not sure what kind they are..they are huge i just bot them years ago as anubia.....

as far as splitting get a sharp tool.. and just cut a length off between leafs....that is what iv always done,

even snapped them off at jointed areas and tied the peaces to logs.

Like I mentioned before...splitting anubias is a cool way to get more...but can release toxins into your tank.

Best way to do it is out of tank...rinse...return to tank...wait an hour or so, and then do your h2o change.

That being said, congrats on the flowers...apparently anubias flower when stressed...they last time mine flowered was when I was making cuttings as well. Those are some huge leaves you have going on though!

..nah i have not cut those particular plants in ..years.

and iv always done it mid change or out of the tank but never knew it could release toxins in to the tank.

and yeah....the leaves are huge!! ^_^ most of my plants have those large leaves.
