I recently visited my lfs and got nice pot of Anubias plus I have a nice piece of wood over here. Hopefully it'll grow well and creep up the driftwood.

Not sure if this is Anubias barteri though... any ideas? The guy at the lfs didn't know the plant's name :grinno:

I'll post pictures around every month for updates whee :nilly:

Mine hasn't grown up the driftwood, new leaves just keep sprouting off of the green stem. (kind of like a cluster instead of a long vine.)

I bought an anubias similar to this a few years ago. Anyway, it came in a little pot like that and I took it out and stuffed it in a hole in some lime stone I found at the beach (thoroughly rinsed and cleaned rock, of course). Over three years later, it's split off twice and I both lengths are about 7" long. The roots grew clean through the rock and came out the bottom! Furthermore, I cut off a piece about 8 months ago and tied it to a piece of driftwood similar to yours. It's now around 7" long and growing leaves like crazy! You'll love the way this looks when it gets going!
