I dont think that is its permanent home, I dont think an aro would live long enough in that tank to get that big... maybe it lives in a pond or something and that is just a holding tank?
So mean. What is that, like 40 gallons? I hope it's temporary. I didn't even finish watching the video, saw him trying to turn in the corner and I was done. Wonder how bad his gill curl is.
Pretty sad.... I agree with above, he had to have been grown out in a bigger tank. I don't think he would have lived long enough to get that big in that small tank..
my 24" aro named "archie" was a cast off from a idiot who kept him in a 55 gallon tank like that . i rescued him but i can see he has a bad spine from the conditions he was in .
That reminds me of my largest silver, that was raised to 21" in a 4 foot tank along with a big electric cat(12") and a 14" pleco. Sad to see a silver swim so little.
