has your snake ever insisted that you hold it? I tried to put mine down to let it crawl around and she hugged me and won't let go.. I'm pretty sure she was after the warmth but I think it's cute..

she's been like this for a good 15 minutes.. does this mean she loves me now?

That is cute man. Nice to see it is used to you. Yeah it likes that warm, hairy skin of yours:ROFL: .

Snakes do not have human emotions and could care less about you (sorry its true). But your warm and its probably scared.

put it around your neck. you'll be suprized how tight it can squeeze!

She is just using you for your heat! My burm and my iggy both try that to hold on to steal all the heat they can get. It doesn't work very well because they are a little bigger than your BP. Here are some pictures.

Yeah, its happened to me a few times. It's easy to anthropomorphize your pets, but just like everyone else said, what she was doing was by no means affectionate. However, I do believe that some snakes become familiar with their owners warmth and scent, and if somehow forced to leave that "familiarity" then thats could be one reason for them to want to remain "attached."
