Been keeping an eye on Kijiji, Buy and Sell and CL for a large used tank for the last couple of months. Not a whole lot in the 220g-300g range for sale in On. The few big tanks I find seem to be priced way high when compared to the U.S. There seems to be quite a few for sale just over the border. Buffalo, Detroit, northern Ohio and that area. Been thinking I might have to take a road trip to get a good deal. Anybody done this before? Any problems bringing tanks and equpment over the border? What amount of duty was paid to Canada customs? I'm a truck driver so a 6 or 7 hour drive wouldn't bother me at all, especialy when I see 280g tanks and equipment selling for $7-800. Think I might be getting a nice little cheque back from RevCan in the next few weeks, so it's time to start planning.
Any Canadians bring used tanks across the border?

Does not appear to say No for fish related equipment, No food or sand though. The personal exemption for duty is $750
