Can I feed my natives pretty much any pellets? Obviously hikari is going to break the bank. How about bulk pellets from animal feed stores? Anybody have any suggestions?
Any certain pellets?

Honestly, Hikari isn't THAT expensive. What fish are you feeding? I used to feed Hikari to all my sunfish, but the LFS near me only carries New Life Spectrum. I was immediately turned off by the higher price, but the quality of food is WAY better IMO. I feed significantly less NLS pellets than I did when I fed them Hikari, and my fish are in exceptional condition.
