I have had no luck keeping any of my fake plants with any of the cichlids I have owned over the years.
The silky kind get the leaves ripped of the plastic stems.
The plastic ones get ripped off the bases and where the plactic stem joins two sections together.
I have wound up removing all of the plants and just use wood and rocks now, but IMO the tanks do not look as good without some greenery.
Im not asking how to keep then rooted down, I have tricks for that, I am more intrested in ones that dont break apart.
What or plants are you guys (and gals) using for your rowdy 12" + cichlids that have a knack for interior decorating?
