Ever since I saw this picture of this flowerhorn on MFK I've been looking really hard to try and find a picture of one similar or get an ID, I'm really hoping somebody could drop some knowledge on this post, without further adieu, tokyogasmask's flowerhorn:

I'm obsessed with this fish... want one so bad

Its either a ZZ or a KML, the light kinda distorts the image a bit but I'ma lean towards KML.

makes sense body shape wise i just can't seem to find any pictures of another one with this coloration... do you guys know if it's fairly common to have em this dark blue or is it a rarity? thanks again

I agree the stainless heaters nearly the same colour. My Thai silk was this colour when I hot her but darkened due black gravel

I may be actually, there's one at an LFS near my home town that has a pair right now male and female $130 each about 3-4", obviously you'd have to see the individual fish but if they do look good and have good potential do you think that's a reasonable price?

For that price and you could one could get one from Julie Tran that would be much better quality. I got my last one from her and he was pretty nice. Throw a blue light over it and it should look amazing.
