I am looking to compete competitively in individual time trials around my state, and I need a better bike haha.

I can switch some of the components over from my bike, and I'll upgrade a lot of things down the road....But, I haven't ever bought a bike used. I love cervelo though, and their P series bikes are pretty good. So, this is an older (2007-2008 I think?) cervelo P2C frame with fork, seatpost, and headset....

Basically what I want to know is....Is this a good price?

You can always check out bikes direct to see other options. They are mostly catalog frames, but real good prices for the component spec.

I agree. You can get a lot of bike for the money. My husband loves his Motobecane. His Immortal Team cost about the same as the Dura Ace 7000 components on the bike....That's crazy...it's almost like we got the rest of the bike for free.

Mmm good point. I've decided to wait about 6 months before I buy a new bike...I don't have enough time to focus on winning races right now with exams in may and june...Plus all the good triathlons and time trials aren't until the fall anyway :)

I'm planning on basically having a very aero road bike frame that I can tour with and then switch out components for triathlons/time trials since I'm only 15 and can barely afford one good bike haha. I know its not the best way of doing it, but I think it'll work.

Competitively? 4 years I think.

But I've been on a bike practically every day since I was 6 racing the ups truck to the stop sign down the road....
I don't do that anymore btw.

Nice! I think I'm going to start racing this year!!

Sweet man! What do you specialize in?

I think I'm going to create an mfk cycling group...Hold on :D

Ahaha, I'm such a noob I can't answer that question.

I ride this though, with a terry saddle.

Ahh that's a good bike for a starter. I have a really crappy schwinn from when I was 12...It's probably a 48cm and I'm 5'10 which is why I'm upgrading LOL.
