i was wondering cuz i just got a 75 gallon tank with the dimentions of 48 inches by 19 inches by 18 inches and datnoids are awesome fish. I check the datnoid sticky about classification and sizes and all of the datnoids range from 18 inches to 24 inches. Is it good and healthy to have one smaller species of datnoid in my 75 gallon for life or at least for 4 or 5 years until I live in my own life (university) and get a bigger tank???? datnoids grow terriblally slow don't they??? what specises should i get or is it a no??? the tankmates will a be a few small bichirs.

thanks

I don't think there are any spieces of datnoid that can live in 75 gallon for life. There not the fastest growers, but in 4-5 years they will have outgrown the 75 gallon..
