Any easy ways to dim lights without buying new bulbs?

Hey guys, I'm switching from Africans to Piranhas and am looking for a way to dim the lighting on my 55. I was thinking about throwing down a thin layer of paint over the plastic under the light rigs but wanted to know if you guys had any other ideas

I have turned my reflector upside don so that most of the light is fourced back upwards.

car tint.....just tint the glass. and if you don't like it, you can just peel it off.

that is a fantastic idea, thanks a lot... the stick on kind is extremely cheap and that will be easy enough.

Yea, I was going to say car tint also and someone beat me to it. At WalMart they've got 6'x8" (or so) strips of tint that are made to go across your car windshield at the top of it. Works perfect to cut the strip to size and lay it right underneath the flourescent light fixture. You can layer them or cut slots in them for whichever effect you're after.

have a smaller light,that would be cheaper it terms of usage
