hollo all new to the forum i would like to keep bass in a 180gal tank any heads up attaining to water conditioning any signs or behavior that i should be aware of or disease. previous occupants 2peacock bass ,silver arrowana,channell catfish,pike chilclid, pucu all decease had them for 8yr
any experience keeping big mouth bass as pet

Check out the native forum, a bunch of people have them. 180 isn't going to be big enough long term though. Other than that most natives are pretty healthy actually. Bass will eat anything else in the tank with them though, so they are typically a big wet pet.

Think you mean large mouth bass... You defiantly need to research them before trying to care for one.
Think you mean large mouth bass... You defiantly need to research them before trying to care for one.Lmb ("big mouth" bass) are very aggressive and will eat ANYTHING that can fit in their mouths! Otherwise great fish!

double the size of your tank and super size your filtration and keep a single fish alone and you should be ok.
