it intrigues me tho never dun it its like treasure hunting with a gps basically as i understand it?
Yes. It's a lot of fun, takes you to places you've never been, and is usually good exercise. It's a great family activity that is free, once you have the GPS.
smart fone solves that problem... maybe something ill look into always looking for ideas of different places to walk the dogs too...
I say this everytime I see or read about it but always forget. Maybe this year I'll remember.
I can't bring my dogs because they don't have the patience to sit and wait while I fill out the log, etc. But, if you have more patient dogs than mine, they would love it.
I use to do it a few years ago. A bunch of friends and I got together and we left $250 in a cache once. We put it in a tree and it took almost 3 months to be found. The people who found it replaced it with a pack of rolling papers.
