In my house, it seems that before 1 fish project ends, another begins.

This is what's going on in my neck of the woods.

6,000 gallon pond- goal : to be finished by end of summer, and cycled by next summer- or sooner :)

1,500 gallon koi tank- take down once koi are in pond. And in it's place make a larger sq ft tank, but shorter in height for the rays.

Move the 125 into the smaller fish room- and move inhabitants from 75 community into this tank. 125 inhabitants (rays) get moved to 240 tonight actually!

Place 180 where 125 was- Move Frontosa colony from 150 to 180.

Make stock tank design for turtles.

Set up salt water tank.

Set up hydro gardening experiment.

Get pallet racking, and set up 2- 10 series of 20 gallons for QT/fry grow out.

So, that leaves me with the following tanks empty: 150, 150, 90, 75

I suspect some new fish in the future!

What do you have going on?

LOL no where near that! infact this year will be a quiet one for me. Most of my year will consist of teaching my husband as much of what I know/learned from the past years, and coaching him from the sidelines in takeing care of our collection since I'll be waddleing around like a penguin. But we're both actually looking forward to it. He's alwasy wanted to learn about fishkeeping more, and I'm pretty much forced to take a back-seat on alot of things. I'm so Use to "Just doing it" he hasn't really learned from me to much the past year we've been married. We do have a few projects...

56 oceanic needs to be resealed and set-up to house Our baby Fahaka puffer.
37T needs to be set-up to house my nasty lil' pike cichlid.

craigs-list hunting continues for a 120W. So the gar can get moved from the 75... and then the aba aba moved ot the 75. and the black leopard eels and friends moved into the 40.

Once this is accomplished we're takeing down the last 10 gallon set-up and one of the 20H's. So essentially upgradeing some tanks this year. But avoiding picking up any new fish.

Hopefully by the end of this year early next year we'll be in our first house. And we can expand abit again.

Baby! :D

I'm hoping to have a successful pleasing planted tank. ...Which will probably cause some stress along the way..

I've been planning my 1200g plywood tank for this summer. Just when I think the rainy seasons done we get overcast clouds. But this will be started soon as I already have the glass I purchased last year and a lot of other stuff I plan to use in my setup. But as far as more tanks in the house non. No more tanks in the house. This 1200g will be built outside my house facing some french doors that will all be enclosed to the house once the tank is built.

Ha ha MonsterMinis, I'm waddling right now! but I went in the other direction, downgrading. So my fish projects are selling my 65G tank. Then i'll just have the one.

I am deployed currently but i have a brand new 220 at my new house with all the bells and whistles waiting to be set up. when i get back. I think its funny how people think a 220 is HUGE, i wish i could afford a 10x3x2.5 i got quotes but i just cant afford the tank and food for myself.. but one day i will have one!

Let's add another 150/180 to the list in about 40 mins for me!

Going to go check it out... not sure if what size it is.
