Any fish that are "made for" very hard water?

I have very hard water coming out of my tap... PH of 8.4. Now, I know there are fish that require softer water to survive, such as discus and angelfish, but is there anything that requires, or thrives especially well in hard water?

Rift Lake (African) cichlids love high pH, as do some CA cichlids.

Most livebearers do well in hard water.

i thought hard water was water with alot of dissolved minerals, not pH,

oh never mind, dissolved minerals (carbonate) creates a high pH
