I know a guy selling a few freshwater Stingrays. I told him I have rock, not sand, on my tanks floors, which he said isnt problem.

I've heard they are hard to take care of in captivity. Rarely see anybody who has them in my city, but a local trader got a hold of a few.

Your post will be removed bro. You can't have rays in Las Vegas. You rarely see them in your city because they are illegal

He's correct. All FW Potamotrigonidae are illegal to buy, sell, transport, and possess in Nevada.

He did not say it was a pota- could be a st johns ray or one of the Asians.

I honestly don't know the breed. Will try to get you guys a picture. He wants to 200 a pop, they are 6 inches. Just didn't want to plop down money on something that may die in a few days.

Difficult to feed? Any tankmates to watch out for?
