Hello...I just relocated in N. Colorado (Ft. Collins area) :headbang2 and I'm looking for info regarding any LFS in the area (including Denver) that are worth taking a drive.
Thanks in advance CO MFKers :)

In my opinion, the best one is denvertropicalfishwarehouse.com

And the second best is fish-palace.com

Check out this link to Pwmin's blog: He does an excellent job assessing most of the LFS in CO.

It really depends on what you are looking for, but I totally agree with Angler,
Fish Palace and DTFW do tend to have the broadest selection of true monster fish.

You might want to share what you are looking for on this thread or what you are into and I'm sure some of the locals can help you out.

I take it from the dat in your avatar and some of the fish I believe you have kept and are looking for, you might be looking more into the asian type fish, dats, aros, fh's etc.

If this is still the case, I really like Golden Fish aquariums for that.

I live in greeley and i like animal attraction and great white aquatics seems to be ok nice to see a close mfker!

thanks , the same....I tried to find great white aquatics with no luck (maybe they moved from their listed address)

The store has changed names a few times, next time your in the area ask for Denizens of the Deep. And they also had another too. Ownership has changed a lot there.

There is also a store called D and G's up there too. They had some decent sized red hook silver dollars they were selling for like 10 bucks. But that was a couple of months ago.

D&G has some decent oddballs from time to time and vince at great white carries a pretty good selection as well

After visiting all stores mentioned here but Golden Fish (on the list) all I can say is the only one who had some nice monsters was Fish Palace.
The stores local to me, D&G and Great White were the biggest disappointments as far as stock.
I will keep buying from Shark Aquarium and deal with the shipping.
Thanks everyone for the input.
